Stinnett's SEASONS on the
WHITE Outfitters
Forming at Bull Shoals Dam, the White River boasts over 100 miles of clear cold trout water. The state of Arkansas stocks rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout each year making this an outstanding trout fishery. While the rainbows are plentiful, many travel from across the country in search of monster brown trout. With average brown trout measuring in at about 20″, 15-20 lb fish are caught each year with the chance at hooking up with a world record sized fish.
The Norfork River, which flows into the White River offers 4.6 miles of some of the best trout fishing found anywhere. As some one noted once ”if you were to design a trout stream the Norfork would be your blue print”. In 1988 a 38 lb world record Brown trout was caught from the Norfork, thus beginning the reputation of the White River system.
The North Fork of the White located in Southern Missouri is our freestone stream. Their wild rainbows and large Browns are plentiful all in a serene wild environment found no where else in Missouri. Starting from Rainbow & Norfork Springs begins the Trout water. The State of Missouri has designated this area down to Blair as it’s Blue Ribbon section. All the rainbows are wild and stream bred allowing anglers to truly experience a wild fisherie
