     The Cotter School District is the second largest in Baxter County. Official Web site.

       The mascot for the school is the Warrior, and the colors are blue and white. There are junior and senior basketball teams, for both boys and girls. There is also a boys' baseball team. All the teams are strongly supported by the community.

     The Superintendent of Schools is Donald Sharp, 870-435-6171. The phone number of the elementary school is 870-435-6655, while that of the high school is 870-435-6323.

     The Cotter School Board holds its regular meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month in the administration building. Members of the board are Russell Duggins, Tony Wallis, Charles Grinder (Board Secretary), Allen Franks (Board Vice-President) and Reed Tucker (Board President).
